When a ponytail just doesnt cut it, the side braid is the go to option this spring. With a bountiful amount of braids bouncing down the runway for S/S 2011, clearly designers are loving this alternative as well.
Alexander McQueen took it to another level with the amazing basket weave styles surrounding the models entire head.
Varying styles of braids were found at L.A.M.B., Erdem, Charlotte Ronson, Lacoste and Jason Wu, among others. Now if only I could recreate these fun braided looks myself...I have a feeling this might take some practice!
